 The Mountain of the House of the Lord - The Church in Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain, Tennessee (4/23/23)

The Lord has a purpose and plan for Signal Mountain, Tennessee and Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. This purpose is conditional but will come to pass if believers choose to partner with the Lord so that His plan can be fulfilled. There are certain locations throughout the U.S. and other nations that the Lord has put His mark upon. He is drawing believers to these locations in order to keep them safe from certain events prophesied in the Book of Revelation. The Lord is also using these locations to build His spiritual houses. His spiritual houses are His living stones (believers) being built into the house of the Lord (the church).

The spiritual houses that the Lord is building will be made up of believers who are in alignment with the Lord and His Kingdom. The Lord will then reveal Himself in a greater measure to these houses of the Lord. He will be in their midst in a thick glory and believers who become apart of this house will understand and know the Lord in a very profound way. They will be taught by the Lord of His ways and walk with Him inwardly:

“But it shall come about in the last days That the mountain of the house of the Lord Shall be established as the highest and chief of the mountains; It shall be above the hills, And peoples shall flow [like a river] to it. And many nations shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob, That He may teach us about His ways And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law shall go forward from Zion, And the word of the Lord [the revelation about Him and His truth] from Jerusalem.” (Micah 4:1-2 AMP)

The above scripture will not be fulfilled until Jesus physically returns and establishes His Kingdom upon the earth ‘on the last day’ of the age (as the scripture can also be translated). Then the mountain of God’s Kingdom will be chief and His house with be established in fullness where He will personally teach of Himself. This will be the full unveiling of Jesus Christ to His people. 

However, it’s the Lord’s desire to teach us of Himself right now in this time as we approach the end of the age. The Lord’s Kingdom is currently inward or within us. He longs to see His house come to the most complete knowledge of Him in this age before He returns. This is called ‘partaking of the powers of the age to come.’ We can have a greater revealing of Christ now if we will be built into a spiritual house by faith:

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,” (Hebrews 6:4-5 NKJV)

I believe the Lord desires to unveil Himself in a greater way and teach revelation knowledge of Himself to believers in Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain, TN. He can and will release a grace to taste of the powers of Micah 4:1-2 in spiritual houses of His choosing. I am specifically writing of coming to a more complete knowledge of the Son of God which is actually part of our purpose for this age:

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV)

The Greek word that is translated ‘knowledge’ in the above scripture also means: “precise and correct knowledge, recognition, full discernment, acknowledgement, the coming to the knowledge of a thing, ascertainment, a distance perception or impression, and insight.”

I believe the Lord would like to reveal Himself to His people as He establishes His houses on the tops of the mountains (Signal and Lookout). The mountain of the house of the Lord will have believers streaming to it in order to know the Lord. There will be a thin veil between Heaven and Earth. Believers will be able to go beyond the veil into the glory of God and behold Him. Transformation into the image of Christ will take place and an inward ‘knowing’ of the Lord will occur. Believers in the region will become a house that knows the Lord intimately because they are with Him in His Presence. They will be taught of the Lord to go beyond the veil into the Holy of Holies. 

The Mountain of Transfiguration 

“Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John the brother of James, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And His appearance changed dramatically in their presence; and His face shone [with heavenly glory, clear and bright] like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus. Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good and delightful and auspicious that we are here; if You wish, I will put up three [sacred] tents here—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased and delighted! Listen to Him!” When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were terrified. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Get up, and do not be afraid.” And when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus Himself alone.” (Matthew 17:1-8 AMP)

Why did Jesus take His disciples up on a physical mountain for this encounter? There is a reason that Jesus took His disciples up to the mountain to become transfigured in His glory. It was foreshadowing the coming age where His mountain “Kingdom” be the highest and dominant on the earth. The Lord is still using the mountains to point to this reality that is coming soon. Therefore the Lord wants to use Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain as a foreshadowing of His coming Kingdom and glory. These mountains in Tennessee will symbolize His house being established on the tops of mountains - a house filled with His glory. Transfiguration on the mountain is coming to the house of the Lord. 

I believe a bright cloud of the Lord’s presence is coming to the mountains surrounding Chattanooga. The house of the Lord will be able to hear the Lord clearly from these locations just as the disciples heard the Father speak on the mountain. The fear of the Lord will also be established in these spiritual houses as is indicated in the above scripture when the disciples fell on their faces and were terrified. The fear of the Lord is healthy and it’s the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom will be needed to receive a greater revealing of Christ and live according to that revealing of Him. Finally the house of the Lord will focus on ‘Jesus only’ just as the disciples looked around and saw no one else but Jesus. Jesus will be their first and only love.

The Signal

Signal Mountain has a prophetic name that illustrates what the Lord desires to do in the nation. From Signal Mountain, Tennessee the Lord will signal the nation! 

“Raise up a signal banner upon the high and bare mountain, summon them [the Medes and Persians] with loud voice and beckoning hand that they may enter the gates of the [Babylonian] nobles.” Isaiah 13:2 AMPC

The Hebrew word used for ‘signal’ means: “something lifted up, standard, signal, signal pole, ensign, banner, and sign.” 

Signal is defined as: “anything that serves to indicate, warn, direct, command, or the like, as a light, a gesture, an act; event, or the like that causes or incites some action, a token, indication; to communicate or make known by a signal; sign, wave, gesticulation, cue, prompt, indicator, communication, message; alert, warning.

Signal Mountain was used by Native Americans in the past to send smoke and fire signals across the Tennessee Valley. It was originally known as Signal Point and was a communications station at the time of the American Civil War. Again, in a time of spiritual war, the Lord will use Signal Mountain as a communications station to send His signals of Holy Spirit fire and the smoke of His glory to the region and nation. The Lord will communicate, warn, direct, alert, and give messages through His house on the mountain at Signal.

The Signal Himself

“And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples; of Him shall the nations inquire and seek knowledge, and His dwelling shall be glory [His rest glorious]! [John 12:32.] And in that day the Lord shall again lift up His hand a second time to recover (acquire and deliver) the remnant of His people which is left, from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Pathros, from Ethiopia, from Elam [in Persia], from Shinar [Babylonia], from Hamath [in Upper Syria], and from the countries bordering on the [Mediterranean] Sea. [Jer. 23:5-8.] And He will raise up a signal for the nations and will assemble the outcasts of Israel and will gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” (Isaiah 11:10-12 AMPC)

The Root of Jesse, Jesus, will stand as a signal on Signal Mountain and draw all people who desire to come to Him. Believers will be coming to the mountain of the house of the Lord to seek the knowledge of God. The glory of Jesus will be so profound on the mountains surrounding Chattanooga that even the nations will come to be filled with the revelation knowledge of the Lord that is flowing from the high places. 

When this occurs the Lord will lift His hand a second time to recover the remnant of His people. Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain will be a place in Tennessee for the remnant to gather. There will be a ‘gathering anointing’ on the region. The ‘lifting of the Lord’s hand’ speaks of demonstrations of healings, power, and miracles. This will get the attention of the remnant so they see that the Lord is moving and they will then move their families to become the house of the Lord on the mountain. The focus of this remnant will be to progress in the knowledge of the Lord (know the Lord intimately). They will focus on the life of Christ in them and learn to allow His life to flow through them. 

The remnant who has been or felt as if they were an ‘outcast’ will be welcome on the mountain of the house of the Lord. They will have finally found their home or family after many hard years of wandering in the spiritual wilderness of the American religious system. The gathering of the remnant is coming in Tennessee and other locations across the U.S. and world. Even the unsaved will come with their families to be converted and experience the glory of the Lord. 

“Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentile nations and set up My standard and raise high My signal banner to the peoples; and they will bring your sons in the bosom of their garments, and your daughters will be carried upon their shoulders.” (Isaiah 49:22 AMPC)

Spiritual sons and daughters will be raised up and filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord at Signal and Lookout Mountains. Many will be sent out to the nation and nations to carry the knowledge of the glory of the Lord and to minister Jesus Christ in times of deep darkness. These ‘glory carriers’ will release the brilliance of Christ in dark times and to dark people. The radiance of the Lord and the brightness of His rising will be seen upon them. Darkness will be displaced as the Lord’s glory arises on His sons and daughters.

The banner of Jesus will be lifted high from the mountain of the house of the Lord. King Jesus will be proclaimed and exalted. He will be presented to the people of God and the unsaved instead of presently them with Americanized Christianity. Jesus Christ as ‘the Life’ will be given to people, and people will be taught of the Lord on how to abide in Him and allow His life to flow from them.

The Watchman

“All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains–look! When a trumpet is blown–hear! For thus the Lord has said to me: I will be still and I will look on from My dwelling place, like clear and glowing heat in sunshine, like a fine cloud of mist in the heat of harvest. For before the harvest, when the blossom is over and the flower becomes a ripening grape, He will cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and the spreading branches He will remove and cut away.” (Isaiah 18:3-5 AMPC)

Signal Mountain will be used by the Lord as a place where He can sound the warning trumpet to the nation. The Lord will operate through watchmen who have an ‘Ezekiel 33’ ministry. They will sound the trumpet as they hear warnings from the Lord and are shown that the Lord is bringing the sword upon the land. We are living in the day of Revelation Chapter 6 being fulfilled and God’s judgments are beginning to come upon the earth. Since the Lord is kind, loving, and merciful; He will signal the nation through His appointed watchmen on Signal and Lookout Mountains. He will call to the unrepentant sinner and warn them that judgment is coming in order to give them an opportunity to repent. The Lord does not want people dying in their sins, but people will die in their sins if they don’t repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ speedily. 

Before harvest times comes (the reaping of souls from the earth), the Father (vinedresser) is going to take His pruning hooks and cut away every dead branch just as the above scripture states and just as Jesus said:

“I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. 

If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.” (John 15:1-2, 6 AMPC)

The watchmen of Signal Mountain will send out the warning of God’s coming judgment. One thing we can all agree on is that Jesus Christ’s words will come to pass because He is not a liar. Everyone who refuses to dwell in Christ will be cut off and thrown into eternal Hellfire. Jesus’ words will not fail. Therefore the wachtman ministry is both necessary and important in our day. The Lord will bring this ministry to fullness from the mountains surrounding Chattanooga.

Lookout Mountain

Lookout Mountain has a rich history that speaks prophetically. The “Battle of the Clouds” was fought during the Civil War in November of 1863. Union troops captured Lookout Mountain as they begin to break the Confederate siege of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Just as this occured in the natural, the Lord’s army will push back the forces of darkness that seek to enslave men (in the spiritual realm). They will take the high ground so that the church or the house of the Lord can have the advantage. The battle will be fought and won for the mountain as the Lord’s warriors have the advantage in the clouds of the Lord’s glory. The Lord’s warriors will abide in His cloud as they battle. The watchman will then operate from that place of thick and heavy glory to behold the Lord and see what He might say to His church. 

Just as the Union army established a military hospital complex on the summit of Lookout Mountain, the house of the Lord will establish a hospital for the spiritually wounded. The wounded will be cared for so that they will make a full recovery. They will then be used powerfully by the Lord to destroy the armies of darkness. 

Signal Mountain sits almost directly North of Lookout Mountain with Chattanooga slightly to the East of both mountains. These are as two lookout towers over the city and region. As the house of the Lord is established on each one, I feel like beams of the Lord’s light will go forth from the mountain tops and connect to one another forming a covering over Chattanooga and the region. The forces of darkness in heavenly places over the region will be blocked so that people can get out of the darkness and into the marvelous light of the Lord. The Lord’s house will be a house of prayer that has a major spiritual impact in the region. 

The word ‘lookout’ means: “the act of looking out or keeping watch; a watch kept, as for something that may happen; a person or group keeping a watch; a station or place from which a watch is kept.”

The watchman will stand on Lookout Mountain in order to keep watch and see what the Lord shows them about the enemy approaching. They will warn the house of the Lord so they can pray and stop the advancement of the enemy forces. The lookouts will also be given strategic revelation for the end of the age. They will supply the church with this revelation so that the church can prepare. Those keeping watch will additionally be given understanding regarding the book of Revelation that the Lord has kept sealed until our day. The church in the region and nation will flourish because of the divine revealing on the mountains of Tennessee. 

The lookout will stand in his/her watch tower and see what the Lord would say. Then the lookout will give the word of the Lord to the region and nation. They will not shape the Lord’s word based on their personal theology or ‘water it down’ so they are accepted by the church. They will give the word of Lord as the Lord wants it given. Alerts, warnings, and divine communications will come forth from the lookout. I know a watchman who lives in Signal Mountain and is already sounding the alarm.

In October of 2020 our family visited Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain. I felt the presence of the Lord on the region and sensed His purpose for the area. Immediately upon returning home to Alabama (where we lived at the time) I came across a message from a prophet/watchman who had been there a month prior (which I had not known while I was at Lookout Mountain). This was more than a coincidence. The prophet/watchman had received a word from the Lord while visiting Lookout Mountain. The Lord gave him prophetic warnings of judgment coming to the nation which he released publicly from their church gathering elsewhere in Tennessee. This was a foreshadowing of the prophetic lookout or watchtower that the mountain was to become. The Lord has spoken from that mountain and will do so again.

The Heavenly Jerusalem 

“Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones. Lift up a standard or ensign over and for the peoples. Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes [in the person of the Lord]; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work and recompense before Him. [Isa. 40:10.] And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.” (Isaiah 62:10-12 AMPC)

Us believers who are being made ready as the bride are Zion, the Heavenly Jerusalem. A straight way (highway) must be prepared for the Lord to return. A straight path must be prepared for people so that they can come meet the Lord in His house before He comes (in order to be ready for when He comes). His believers gathered in unity are His house. The Lord desires to use us everyday we have left before He comes to go deeper and deeper into the glorious knowledge of Him. Because, Zion, our salvation is coming soon with His reward with Him. 

We have come to Mount Zion in the Spirit (Hebrews 12:22), the Heavenly Jerusalem on earth. We must believe who we are and turn within our spirits where the Kingdom of Heaven is. We can go inward and know the Lord in this age before He comes with an outward Kingdom in the next age. There doesn’t need to be special places to worship the Lord as we can worship the Lord in Spirit and truth anywhere we carry the Kingdom within us. However, the Lord does choose certain locations to gather His church together and establish His house. As we align with the Lord we enter into all that He has for us. 

A greater shaking is coming to the U.S. and the world, but so is His glory:

“For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the desirable and precious things of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory and splendor,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I shall give [the ultimate] peace and prosperity,’ declares the Lord of hosts.”” (Haggai 2:6-9 AMP)

The last battle has already begun. The globalist antichrist system of control is being pushed on the world. The soldiers of the Lord Jesus Christ will be gathered in various locations throughout the U.S. and the world. The Lord will use the high ground around Chattanooga to engage the enemy forces through His church. This war is not about the slavery of one race but of the slavery of the entire human race. Satan wants to bring as many people with him to Hell as he can and he desires to turn as many believers away from Christ as possible. This war is for the souls of men that will have eternal consequences. So the battle plan of the Lord must come forth in this Tennessee region. Once again the lookouts must be maned and the signals sent out!

Let the house of the Lord arise on the mountains in Tennessee! May Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain become dwelling places for the Lord to rest among His people. Let the knowledge of the glory of the Lord cover those locations in these last days before the physical return of Jesus to the earth. May the Lord have His way with the church in the Chattanooga region of Tennessee!
