The Tearing of America (9/2/22)
On September 2, 2022, I heard the phrase, “The Tearing of a Nation.” I instantly knew the Lord was referring to America. The Lord then put scriptures in my Spirit to illustrate what He was telling me (specifically 1 Kings). A tearing is coming and this is a warning so we can prepare.
If a house divided against itself or a nation divided against itself stands, thrives, and continues, then Jesus is a false prophet. And we know that He is no false prophet. His word will come to pass for every home, church, or nation. Including the United States or your nation.
“But He, [well] aware of their intent and purpose, said to them, Every kingdom split up against itself is doomed and brought to desolation, and so house falls upon house. [The disunited household will collapse.]” Luke 11:17 AMPC
The Dividing of a Nation
1 Kings Chapter 11 and 1 Kings Chapter 12 show us how the Lord brings division in a nation. These chapters also show us that sometimes the Lord ordains rebellion against the ruler to bring separation. The United States was formed in similar fashion.
In these chapters, the Lord tells Solomon that He will tear the kingdom away from his son Rehoboam, because of idolatry and sin within Solomon’s house (and the nation as well). The Lord sends a prophet named Ahijah to Solomons’s servant who is named Jeroboam. The prophet tells Jeroboam that the Lord is making him ruler over of ten of the 12 tribes of Israel. Two tribes remained under the leadership of Solomon’s son. By doing this, the Lord effectively divided the United Israel into two separate nations. In fact, the Lord actually sanctioned a rebellion against Solomon’s son which would tear the nation in half.
America is divided against itself and has been for sometime. Political and racial divisions have reached an all time high due to Americans being deceived by Satan’s agenda. This division has flooded the streets of major cities with violent protests and criminal activity. During the last two years, the division has grown worse instead of better, despite the “positive” prophesying of many. Positive decrees will not overturn the prophetic word of Jesus. A divided nation will be laid waste or brought to ruin.
Some see the division in America as political (left vs right). The true source of the division is light vs darkness, or right vs wrong. The pride of self-willed men want the darkness rather than the light. Many Americans want sin legalized. They desire sexual immorality, drugs, abortion, crime, violence, and to worship idols instead of the blessed Creator. America has become exalted in pride just as Sodom had (Ezekiel 16:49-50). America has not repented of her sins. Abortions are currently continuing in at least half of the nation (women can drive across state lines to get one). Prayers without repentance are like faith without works…dead.
On the other hand there is a remnant of believers who are contending for God’s righteousness to reign in America. This group desires the Lord to be King over America, and is opposing the darkness and sin that so many are saying is right. Light opposing darkness is a divide. The nation is sharply divided.
Amos Speaks
Amos Chapter Seven reveals a merciful and loving God. He is long suffering and relents of destruction even when it would be right to bring it. But a time comes when His judgment is released as mercy, so that the righteous will have relief and deliverance from evil in a land. Amos interceded for Israel, but at a certain point the Lord told him judgment was certain. Apparently, then Amos had to speak the word of the Lord like a true prophet does. Amos didn’t argue with God or come up with a theology that made the people feel better about their backslidden state. Amos didn’t prophecy that everything would be okay, and that there would be peace and safety (what the people wanted to hear). He obeyed God.
Immediately after the word of the Lord was released through Amos, the false priesthood attacked him. The false priesthood commanded Amos not to prophesy in Bethel any more (the house of God). Amos assures the false priesthood that he was not trained as a prophet by means of human institutions (like many today), or a prophet by profession (doing it for money like many today), but rather a prophet by the commissioning of the Lord. The word of the Lord in judgment is then released through Amos against the false priesthood. Just as in Amos’ time, this false priesthood today is so blind that they cannot even recognize the word of the Lord if it does not fit “their” doctrine or theology. The false priesthood will attack the true messengers of the Lord in the days ahead, just as Amos was attacked. We must stand strong and obey the Lord regardless of what the mainstream church or mainstream prophetic deems “acceptable” to say. We will all stand before the Lord and give account to Him.
The Tearing of a Nation
America has been measured by the plumb line of the Lord and America is going to be torn just as Israel was. It appears to me that the Lord is speaking of states seceding and splitting away just as 10 tribes succeeded and split away forming two separate nations. How and when this will happen, I don’t know. We must prepare for difficult times. The Lord is warning us so we can prepare. He is also warning other nations as well, so that they may avoid what happened to Israel and what is going to happen to the Untied States.
Our response and to the degree that we turn to the Lord will determine the level of tearing and whether or not the torn nation will be bandaged, healed, and restored. Our level of humbling and repentance will determine the measure of revival and of the outpouring of the Spirit that is released. The Lord will protect His bride and allow her to gather and spiritually thrive during difficult times. He has a plan to build his resting place in the Spirit and He will perform it during the most difficult times. The remnant will walk in His light and life. There is hope in the midst of suffering and judgment…and judgment is coming. Prepare for the tearing.
