The Unfolding of Revelation (10/22/22)

The key points I believe the Lord is saying to us in this hour are:

  1. Draw near to the Lord in intimacy. Spend time waiting on and meditating on the Lord. Make oil for your lamps. Minister to the Lord and become the Royal Priesthood. Take the invitation and become the bride.

  2. Allow the Lord to take possession of the “land” in you. Allow Christ to come forth in you. The Father desires to see the image of His Son in us, and for us to come to the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ. Embrace this internal journey.

  3. Be prepared for the revealing of Christ found in the book of Revelation. Agree with the Lord, His word, and His judgments. What He says is good, righteous, and necessary (in Revelation); it must be embraced by the church.

The hour is late. The Father is looking for those who will agree with Him. He is looking for those who desire His truth over the fabricated truth of our own souls. Much of what the current prophetic movement in America says is coming, differs from what the Father has revealed is coming.

God is love and there is no shifting of shadow in Him. The events that will soon unfold in the book of Revelation are love, written by “the apostle of love,” John. The Father is about to release His love upon the whole earth. His love cannot be separated from His judgments for they are the same. The righteous loving eternal Judge is soon going to break the seals and allow the horsemen of Revelation Chapter Six to ride.

Terry Bennett, a prophet of the Lord, was told in May of 2022 that Revelation Chapter Five was happening in Heaven now. Now we know that time happens differently on the Earth as it does in Heaven. If Revelation Chapter Five is currently unfolding in Heaven, it could be months, years, or even a few decades for the manifestation of Revelation Chapter 6 to come forth on the Earth. We start to miss God when we presume upon His timing, so I don’t want to do that. However, the point is the time is near and we must be ready.

The Soulish Realm vs the Word of the Lord

Many in the modern prophetic movement are caught in what they want to happen as opposed to what the Lord is really saying will happen. Whenever we place the will of our own souls over the love of the truth of God, deception creeps in. When people don’t believe the truth, they willingly open themselves up to a “misleading influence” so that they will believe a lie (1 Thessalonians 2:10-12). This can happen to believers to varying degrees, not just the unsaved.

Any truth we reject will open us up to spirits of deception. Once deception takes hold of a believer in a certain area, it is difficult for them to see the truth and be made free. If someone points out the deception with the truth, they oftentimes lash out in anger at the person. The deceived believer will attack if their false doctrine, mindset, or belief comes under assault from the truth. You can see this clearly because the deceived believer will demonstrate that exact opposite of the fruit of the Spirit, when shown their error. Bitter poison of the enemy seeps into our hearts when we embrace deceptive and soulish doctrines. That’s why Paul said:

We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,” (2 Corinthians 10:5 AMP).

Paul understood the damage that doctrines of demons, and soulish prophetic revelation could do to the church.

The Four Spirits

Zechariah saw the same angels of divine judgment that John saw in Revelation Chapter Six. These four spirits (or winds) stand before the Lord and enforce His divine will. The Septuagint translation (quoted often in the New Testament) matches the colors of the horses perfectly with the book of Revelation:

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, four chariots coming out from between two mountains; and the mountains were brazen mountains. In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot piebald and ash-coloured horses. And I answered and said to the angel that talked with me, What are these, my Lord? And the angel that talked with me answered and said, These are the four winds of heaven, and they are going forth to stand before the Lord of all the earth. As for the chariot in which were the black horses, they went out to the land of the north; and the white went out after them; and the piebald went out to the land of the south. And the ash-coloured went out, and looked to go and compass the earth: and he said, Go, and compass the earth. And they compassed the earth. And he cried out and spoke to me, saying, Behold, these go out to the land of the north, and they have quieted mine anger in the land of the north. (Zechariah 6:1-8 Brenton LXX)

It’s likely that we have seen the operation of the angel who rides the ashen horse before, as he administered divine judgment in the form of plague:

So David chose for himself the mortality: and they were the days of wheat-harvest; and the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from morning till noon, and the plague began among the people; and there died of the people from Dan even to Bersabee seventy thousand men. And the angel of the Lord stretched out his hand against Jerusalem to destroy it, and the Lord repented of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough now, withhold thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshing-floor of Orna the Jebusite. (2 Samuel 24:15-16 Brenton LXX)

The Reality of Revelation

As we can see, when Jesus opens the seals of Revelation Chapter Six, the judgment will be severe. A fourth of the world’s population will be completely wiped out by the plagues released by these four spirits. (Revelation 6:8). Revelation Chapter Seven shows that an innumerable amount of believers from every nation are dying because of the great tribulation and entering Heaven (Revelation 7:9-16). They came “out of” the great tribulation, meaning they were “in” it. This massive crowd of believers is given a special reward for laying down their lives for Christ and not loving their lives unto the death.

Jesus told His disciples that unless they denied their own earthly life, and picked up their crosses and followed Him, they could not be His disciples (Luke 14:27). The martyrs coming out of the great tribulation will prove to the Lord by their actions that they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 20:4), and that they cared more about their eternal Heavenly lives. These are the true disciples of the Lord that followed Jesus’ example. They laid down their earthly lives for their Friend, Jesus. They were given an opportunity to prove their love for their Master. Only tested and tried love can be proven true and rewarded.

These are the disciples that Jesus used to be a light in the midst of humanity’s darkest hour. These disciples followed the leadership of their Master. They were present to lead young believers who couldn’t have stood against the antichrist on their own, for they were spiritual babies in Christ. These are the ones who took up the call to lead by example, and allow Christ to minister to new believers through them. These leaders provided places of refuge, so young believers would not fall away from the faith and take the mark of the beast. They were burning lamps in the midst of deep darkness on the earth. They stood firm against the greatest evil ever known, because the Lamb was the Lamp within them.

The False Reality Preached by the Prophetic Movement

There is a different gospel being presented by the American prophetic movement. It’s a gospel where America elects a godly president and revival sweeps the nation. No judgment occurs because the mercy of God triumphs. Only evil is judged and casted out from influencing the United States. A divided nation stands and does not fall. America then completely turns around and becomes a light to world again. She lives in glory and power until Christ returns and sets up His Kingdom. The prophetic voice may not say these words exactly, but that’s what the voice is essentially prophesying.

The problem with this prophetic voice is that it is prophesying a different reality than scripture prophesies. The American prophetic voice says we will be loved because of the revival manifesting in our midst, yet Jesus prophesies that we believers will be hated by every nation (Matthew 24:9). The modern prophetic declares that we will escape tribulation, yet Jesus says, “you will be handed over to tribulation, and be put to death.” The current prophetic predicts the biggest harvest of souls in the history of the world, while Jesus declares, “At that time many will be offended and repelled and will fall away and will betray one another and will hate one another.” (Matthew 24:10 AMP)

When you compare the sure prophetic revelation of Jesus Christ, to that which is coming from much of the prophetic movement; there appears to be a big discrepancy. Many in the prophetic movement have twisted prophecy to fit that which pleases the soul. They prophesy according the outward instead of the inward. They speak of the temporal instead of the eternal. The modern prophetic movement should have the same sound as Jesus Himself does. When a voice shifts or changes it is no longer the same voice, but a voice of its own. The true prophetic ministry is to be the exact voice of the Lord!

Hearing According to Its Own Desire

Much of the prophetic movement in America is now hearing according to the desires of its own heart. Many are afraid to say what Jesus the Prophet is saying because their ministries will not be as popular, and their influence will decrease. So they give prophetic revelation that is positive in nature, but not the pure word of truth from the Lord. The following then occurs:

““But if the prophet [who speaks without My authority] is enticed to speak a word [of his own], it is I the Lord who have caused that prophet [to speak falsely to please the inquirer, thus allowing himself to be a party to the inquirer’s sin], and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel. They [both] will bear the punishment of their wickedness; the sin of the [counterfeit] prophet will be the same as the sin of the [hypocritical] inquirer, so that the house of Israel may no longer drift away from Me and no longer defile themselves with all their transgressions, but they will be My people, and I will be their God,” ’ says the Lord God.”” (Ezekiel 14:9-11 AMP)

Now that is the word of the Lord regardless of how anyone would attempt to explain it away. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

The Righteous Judge

The Lord is a righteous Judge. If a judge lets evil continue then he is not a righteous judge. The Lord has been long suffering by giving time for repentance. So the Lord will now act, and has already been acting. America is under judgment and that judgment will increase over the next decade. It seems that America is now under some of the most severe judgment and oppression that she has ever experienced. This is because she was shown mercy, but did not repent; instead she trampled on God’s grace, mercy, and kindness (despising it). Therefore:

Then the hand was sent from the presence [of the Most High God], and this inscription was written: “This is the inscription that was written, ‘mene, mene, tekel, upharsin [numbered, numbered, weighed, and divided].’ This is the interpretation of the message: ‘mene’—God has numbered the days of your kingdom and put an end to it; ‘tekel’—you have been weighed on the scales [of righteousness] and found deficient; ‘peres’—your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel 5:24-28 AMP)

Conclusion

The reality of the book of Revelation is getting ready to unfold globally. The Lord is warning us to prepare spiritually, physically, and mentally for what is coming. Now is the time to be made ready for the coming King. Now is the time to take what is written in the book of prophecy seriously, and to watch and guard over it:

Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and who keep the things which are written in it [heeding them and taking them to heart]; for the time [of fulfillment] is near.” (Revelation 1:3 AMP)
