War in the House of God (Watchman vs Wolves) 5/22/23
The war in the church is beginning. A separation is coming. The lukewarm will be separated from the disciples of the Lord. The nominal Christian will be divided against the believer who is making himself/herself ready as the bride. Division will come to spiritual houses (the church) just as it is coming to the natural family.
“Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”” (Luke 12:51-53 NKJV)
The division is being brought forth by Jesus Christ. He will allow it so that all those who are completely His will be made manifest from those who still want to live for themselves. Jesus didn’t command for self-centered Christians to be made but for disciples who carry their crosses and deny their self-life. The lukewarm believer will be forced to choose a side. They will either choose to become burning and devoted followers of Jesus or they will be swept away in the delusion of the false church. Those who are not choosing to follow Christ fully are already deciding their own fate.
Division will also come to the church leadership. Leaders who are fighting for their own ministries, recognition, following, power, money, status and influence will come in direct confrontation with the Lord’s true leaders. The Lord’s real leaders will carry His burden and no longer allow the house of God to be profaned by ungodly leadership. The Lord’s true leaders understand that they will be held accountable for what they do or don’t do with their positions of authority.
These are the true shepherds that understand they must protect God’s sheep from profane leadership. The godly leaders must be the watchman over God’s house. If these leaders refuse to take action when they see the sheep being polluted and damaged by ungodly leadership, they may have blood on their hands when they stand before the living God. Now is not the time to draw back. It’s the time to make sure the Lord gets what He wants - a holy nation that is set apart for Him.
This division is all about the False Priesthood and the Royal Priesthood being manifested. The false priesthood practices idolatry and is a mixture while the royal priesthood has presented their bodies as living sacrifices to the Lamb.
The Watchman
The Lord is beginning to have His watchman call out names of leaders who are damaging the body of Christ. He has recently had me call out a woman claiming to be an apostle but who is operating in mixture and imparting demonic spirits to believers. Also, He had me sound the alarm on two false prophets who are operating in divination and sorcery. In addition, the Lord had me write an article about an evangelist who continues to live in unrepentant sin and was not properly (Biblically) disciplined by apostolic leaders in the church. These articles can be found on my ‘watchman’ type website: Burning Point Ministries.
When the Lord releases a word of judgment or a warning to the church about a damaging leader, He will usually give those types of words to messengers, watchman, prophets, or apostles. This is part of their assignment. If the watchman does not give the word of the Lord and believers are damaged by a false prophet or a leader ministering in mixture, the watchman will be held responsible by the Lord:
““Now as for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you shall hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die because of his sin; but I will require his blood from your hand.” (Ezekiel 33:7-8 AMP)
This is a most difficult calling because if you don’t obey the Lord then you are judged by the Lord. However if you do obey the Lord and speak His word of judgment coming, many believers will speak against you and say, “The loving Father doesn’t bring judgment! We are in the New Testament. You don’t understand the love of the Father!”
If the Lord tells the watchman to call out a damaging leader and the watchman does so, many who follow that leader are going to speak against the watchman. They say, “Nowhere in the Bible does it say you should call people out publicly. You need to mind your own business and not cause division! That person is being used by God! Look at all the healings and deliverances taking place! You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit!”
Watchmen will sit in the council and presence of the Lord and receive His instructions and counsel. They will give His word and warning to the church about leaders, all while being spoken against by the church. These watchmen will come from the very presence and fire of the Holy Spirit yet be accused by carnal believers of ‘blaspheming the Holy Spirit’. Only Christ’s strength can sustain the watchman against the evil speaking from carnal believers who do not have control of their tongues. The enemy speaks very loudly and boldly through carnal Christians who don’t have proper understanding. Their tongues spew bitter poison that is anything but Christ-like. They will be held accountable by God for every idle word they speak (Matthew 12:36-37).
So if the watchman does not give the word then he/she is in trouble from the Lord. If the watchman does give the word then he/she is spoken against by people! The assignment is often misjudged because many believers don’t truly understand the ministry of the watchman and therefore condemn the watchman. The ministry of the watchman is a ‘double edged-sword’ that Habakkuk understood very well:
“Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises.” (Habakkuk 1:3 NKJV)
There are also self-appointed Pharisaical watchman who only attack and tear down the Lord’s people, but I am not addressing that false ministry in this article. These deceived workers do almost as much damage as the false prophets. However, just because these false watchman are ministering doesn’t give believers and leaders the right to ignore the true Holy Spirit anointed ministry of the watchman. Those who ignore the Lord’s voice through His watchman will be held accountable by the living God.
Ministers Operating in Mixture
We need to understand that ministers who are operating in mixture can be teaching mostly truth with false doctrine mixed in that corrupts the temple of God. These ‘mixed’ ministers can also be healing the sick, casting out demons, and prophesying; all while releasing demonic impartation to believers and causing them to be tormented in new ways. The Lord is not alright with His leaders ministering in mixture as the scriptures show:
“‘You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear clothing of two kinds of material mixed together.” (Leviticus 19:19 AMP)
Leaders who minister in mixture usually started in ministry before their self-life was crucified. Inwardly they have too much ‘self’ and therefore they are ‘mixed’. So a mixture comes out of them because they are not pure vessels and the mixture opens them up to the demonic. Babel or Babylon means: ‘confusion’ (by mixing). The Lord is calling His leaders to come out of Babel and be purified:
“Therefore, since we have these [great and wonderful] promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, completing holiness [living a consecrated life—a life set apart for God’s purpose] in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1 AMP)
“Now in a large house there are not only vessels and objects of gold and silver, but also vessels and objects of wood and of earthenware, and some are for honorable (noble, good) use and some for dishonorable (ignoble, common). Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable—disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.” (2 Timothy 2:20-21 AMP)
The leaders who refuse to be cleansed and purified of their self-life: lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; will become more corrupted over time. As the years pass by they will become more deluded. The damage they do to the Lord’s sheep will increase. One day they will stand before the Lord and experience this:
““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV)
“Since this minister is driving out demons in the name of Jesus, they must be of God,” many people say. The above scripture disagrees with the theology of many people. Demons can be driven out because of Jesus’ name while inwardly the person is full of sin and rebellion just like Judas was. We don’t know true leaders by their ministry fruit, we know them by the fruit of the Spirit (Matthew 7:15-20). Those believers who only judge by outward ministry fruit will be deceived. ‘Outward life’ believers tend to only judge according to the demonstration of outward spiritual things (like power). Those believers who have Christ as their inward life have learned to judge by inward fruit in ministers.
Exposure
Judgment has begun in the house of God. Now it’s time for false prophets, false teachers, and leaders of mixture to be exposed by the watchman of God (as directed by the Lord). The Lord is moving on watchmen who don’t care about their own fame, recognition, or ministry optics. The Lord is sending the ‘nobodies’ from the wilderness who will actually say what He wants said without caring what other leadership in the church thinks. The Lord is serious about protecting His sheep and will expose evil to do so!
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.” (Ephesians 5:8-13 NKJV)
Leaders Publicly Rebuking Leaders
I have heard it said, “Nowhere in scripture does any leader publicly rebuke other leaders. We shouldn’t speak against leaders.” People who believe this do not understand the ministries of watchmen, messengers, apostles, and prophets because they don’t have that calling. It is part of the assignment of those called to these ministries. We will examine the scriptures to reveal the truth:
“Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.” (I Timothy 5:19-20 NKJV)
Paul demonstrated this when he publicly rebuked Peter to his face in the church at Antioch (Galatians 2:11-14). The first century apostles clearly taught that if a leader sins then they are to be rebuked publicly. Now Peter was a true apostle of the Lord so how much more would this apply to false ministers or leaders of mixture!
Paul also discerned false prophets who were functioning by a demonic source of revelation and power. Many people may have thought that Elymas was a prophet of God because he could acquire supernatural knowledge of people. Discerning Elymas as a false prophet would likely have been difficult at the time, but we have the scriptures saying that he was a false prophet (which makes it clear for us now). The Holy Spirit actually inspired Paul to prophesy judgment against Elymas when he confronted him (Acts 13:6-11). Real apostles are not deceived by false prophets who can accurately prophesy and move in supernatural power. The Lord has called them to confront and expose the false prophetic ministry to protect His people from its poison.
Paul also publicly exposed two false teachers to the church and called them by name:
“But avoid all irreverent babble and godless chatter [with its profane, empty words], for it will lead to further ungodliness, and their teaching will spread like gangrene. So it is with Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have deviated from the truth. They claim that the resurrection has already taken place, and they undermine the faith of some.” (2 Timothy 2:16-18 AMP)
John, the apostle of love, also publicly called out a false leader who was full of mixture and control:
“I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church. Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.” (III John 1:9-11 NKJV)
We know that Jesus publicly rebuked religious leaders who were opposing the will of God (Matthew Chapter 23). Jesus is the example to follow for all His disciples and leaders. Jeremiah confronted Hananiah (a false prophet) publicly and prophesied against him (Jeremiah Chapter 28). Amos also contended and prophesied against a spiritual leader of Israel who was a priest (Amos 7:10-17).
We would all have to agree that the true servants of God publicly spoke against false leaders (or leaders with mixture) because we have a clear picture from the Bible. However, we must understand that the majority of the people supported these ‘false’ leaders and considered them true prophets or priests (just as it is today). Many of God’s people are being deceived by leaders who are walking in the mixture of Babylon. These people fight or speak against God’s true messengers who are confronting their ‘favorite’ prophet or apostle. These are the believers who have come under the influence of false or mixed leaders and start to idolize them. We must be very careful not to unjustly judge watchmen and speak against them.
The Confrontation
False leaders and leaders of Babylon have already been arising. Some are releasing demonic impartation, some are releasing a ‘false fire’ from demonic spirits, and some are giving accurate ‘prophecy’ by a spirit of divination. Right now most of these false or ‘mixed’ ministers are ministering unchecked and the people of God are starting to be brought under their witchcraft, spells, and delusions.
Also, some real leaders in the body of Christ are starting to be deceived by some of these false or mixed leaders. Real leaders are beginning to invite them to their conferences and into their ministry spheres of influence. This error will expose many more believers to divination, false fire, and demonic impartation. The Lord is going to release His own messengers who have been being prepared by His hand in the wilderness. They are going to carry a greater power than the false and mixed ministers. Like Elijah they will challenge the prophets of Baal with God’s power. Like Moses they will stand against the sorcerers.
The true messengers will have the greatest power of all. They will carry the power of Christ’s life within them. Only those believers, ministers, and messengers who have been crucified with Christ will have Christ’s life in them. Outward power can be given as a gift but inward life can only come through the absolute death of one’s self-life. Outward power can heal the sick or cast out demons, but it cannot transform believers into the image of Christ. Only the life of Christ emanating from the Lord’s mature vessels has the capacity of seeing Christ formed in believers and Christ coming to full-measure in His saints.
As the Lord leads, it’s time for the messengers to stand with the Lord against the dark messengers. What Jesus prophesied is coming to pass now:
“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:4-5, 11, 24 NKJV)
The ‘mixed’ ministers or false prophets are already coming in Jesus’ name and saying that Jesus is the Christ. They look so good and people actually believe that Jesus sent them. Many believers are deceived and will continue to be deceived, according to the word of the Lord through Jesus functioning as a New Testament Prophet. Here is the word of the Lord in regard to these messengers of mixture:
“I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. (Jeremiah 23:21 NKJV)
If we think Jesus wants His leaders to standby and do nothing while false prophets and mixed leaders deceive His people, we do not know Jesus very well. Those leaders who should be confronting false or mixed leaders and choose not to do so based on repercussions from other believers, will be held accountable by the Lord. We must fear God and not man. When God’s leaders take a stand against false and mixed leaders there will be conflict and there will be a war in the church. This is unavoidable. Many will be swept away into the false church of the rising ‘beast system’. However the messengers of the Lord can stand against the false and the mixture. They can stop many believers from falling away into the the false religious system.
Here is the word of the Lord for His messengers and His bride in this hour: “Do not draw back.” The Lord’s church is at stake as the ‘false ones’ are arising. The Lord wants His sheep protected and He wants a people consecrated unto Him. The Lord’s ministers must present to Him a bride made ready, a holy nation, a royal priesthood. The enemy is coming for the bride! The enemy desires to stop the royal priesthood from coming forth. The battle is upon us.
“If he should draw back, my soul has no pleasure in him: but the just shall live by my faith.” (Habakkuk 2:4 Brenton LXX)
It’s time to live by the Christ’s faith, not our own. It’s time to live by His strength and His life within us. Then we will not draw back. The time is near for His return. He has tarried because the vision was for our time (the appointed time). The Lord quoted the following verse to me in the Septuagint version on May 4, 2023:
“For the vision is yet for a time, and it shall shoot forth at the end, and not in vain: though he should tarry, wait for him; for he will surely come, and will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3 Brenton LXX)
